Heavy Responsibility for China's Construction Machinery Overseas Development

In the recently held 12th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Seminar (BICES 2013) Exhibitors preparatory meeting and press conference, the China Construction Machinery Industry Association Vice Chairman and General Suzi Meng summarized the construction machinery industry economic running condition of first half year of the 2013 as the following eight aspects: smooth adjustment of major product sales, gradually narrowing of sales revenue decline, slightly decline of corporate finance costs and labor costs, reduction increase rate of accounts receivable and inventory, decline of economic benefits, not significantly improved financial tensions, continuous drop of imports and remaining growth of exports.

Although various types of construction machinery showed a good export growth, but it still needs further development. Overall, the international situation of more competitive exports, enterprises should actively adjust the product structure, increase investment in high-tech research and development, through improvement of quality and performance, to regain lost ground in the international market. Enterprises should also actively seek help from policies, positively response to some countries’ trade war and unfair competition, to escort for China's construction machinery exports.
